The Floyd County Record is LOCAL, NEWS, NOW. For too long, Floyd County (Texas) residents have had to wait a week to read about what is happening in the communities of Lockney and Floydada. Just like printed newspapers, that is a thing of the past. Click here
Friday Night Scores is the online brand of the West Texas Friday Night Scoreboard Show, the largest high school scoreboard show on the radio (by number of affiliates) in Texas. Every Friday night during the football season, you’ll hear Steven Orr and Mark Finkner churn out a mix of scores and reports from games across the state. What makes the Friday night program (9:30 pm – 12 midnight) unique is its hyper-focus on schools west of I-35, north of I-10, and the 150-200 games the group covers. This year (2026) marks the 31st season of the scoreboard show, which originates from our Lubbock studios. Click here
